Forever 21

Ok, so I am totally out of the West Town Mall loop now that Turkey Creek has about every shopping place you could ever want, but I saw a tweet from Coupon Katie that WT has opened a Forever 21 this week! Let me just say, that I will definitely be making a trip soon. When I was in Nashville, my roommate Katie & I loved loved the Forever 21 @ Cool Springs Mall in Franklin. They had the cutest accessories for great prices! You can go here to read more about it opening, as well as some new eating places in the Knoxville area. Everyone have a great Saturday! I am getting ready to go to mom's to help her prepare for our Baptist Women's meeting tonight. It should be lots of fun!

Wedding Dress

Kelly from Kelly's Korner has a different blog theme each week to share, and this week it is "Show Us Your Life"-Wedding Dress. I tried on tons of wedding dresses at David's Bridal, but I always came back to this one. I had it picked out a year in advance (it was on the cover of the Fall 2007 David's Bridal magazine), & I remember hoping that it would be still be there when it came time for me to get it. There were a few things that I wanted in my wedding dress: strapless, lace, & a pick-up skirt, and I found all of these in the dress that I love! (I also love the man I married while wearing my dress :o) )

Sunday School Cook-Out

Saturday night, we got together with our couples Sunday school class at mom & dad's for a cook-out. We definitely had TONS of hamburgers, hot dogs, yummy side dishes & lots of desserts. The guys enjoyed some corn hole & ladder ball, & I enjoyed catching up with Amber. This Sunday, our class starts the Love Dare Bible study, and I am very excited!

Christina's Baby Shower

On Saturday, July 11, I hosted a baby shower for my longtime friend, Christina. She & her husband, Andrew, are expecting their first baby boy, Brayden James, on August 20. It was great to get together with all of our high school friends again & shower Christina with lots of gifts!

Happy Birthday, USA!

This was our first 4th of July as a married couple, & it was our 9 month anniversary! It was also our last "first" holiday together, except for Labor Day, I guess. :o) We started out our morning with yummy cinnamon rolls...

Then, we went to John T.'s mom & dad's for a cook-out: hotdogs, hamburgers, & cookie cake!

That night, we watched the fireworks in Kingston! This was Jayden's first time to see big fireworks, & she was so nervous she would be scared, but she did great & loved them! I <3 fireworks, too!
