Chili's + OTH

I knew I would be working late today (well, if you call 5:25 p.m. late), and we decided Sunday night that we would have Chili's to-go for supper. After work, I ordered John T. the baby back ribs & chicken crispers for myself. We <3 Chili's! I went to Wal-Mart while I was waiting and picked up some labels, so I can make address labels for our Christmas cards. Hopefully, I will get them in the mail by the end of this week. We're now watching One Tree Hill, a show we have watched together since we were in high school. I love nights of relaxation!

Vols vs. Dores

Saturday, John T. & I went to the Tennessee/Vanderbilt game. This was the first game we have been to this season, and we weren't disappointed! The VOLS won 31-16 on Senior Night. Our seats were awesome, and we had a really great time!

Friday Night Date with "The Blind Side"

Last night, John T. & I went to see the much anticipated movie, (in our house, anyway) "The Blind Side." It is definitely in my top 3 now for favorite movies of all time. I love all things southern & SEC, and this movie was all of that and more. The movie is set in Memphis, TN, and ever since visiting Memphis when I was in nuc. med. school and learning about mission work in Memphis at a Baptist women's conference last year, I have had a real interest in the city. Obviously, the message the movie brought was the most important part. The real Tuohy family is remarkable, and Sandra Bullock, Tim McGraw, Quinton Aaron, Jae Head (hilarious little guy!) & Lily Collins did an outstanding job portraying each one of them.
You can go here to read about the movie, and I highly recommend that anyone who loves football & inspiration should go see it!

Girls + Brayden Night Out

On Thursday, I had supper with my best friends from high school, Whittney, Cassi, Christina, & Ashley, and Christina's new baby boy, Brayden at O'Charley's. We had such a good time catching up & playing with Brayden. I can't wait to do it again soon!

Halloween 2009...better late than never!

Have I mentioned that I love this time of year? Halloween always starts off the holiday season, and I have always loved it since I was a kid. Not to mention, Halloween in Hidden Acres is definitely the best. I love handing out candy to all of the the trick-or-treaters that come out each year. Mom always goes all out with food & goodies, and I am so glad that I have been able to help her for the last two years. Now, bring on the Thanksgiving turkey & Christmas joy!
