Football Friday

After a horrible 41-10 loss to Alabama last week, the Vols travel this weekend to Columbia, SC, to play the South Carolina Gamecocks.

I hope Smokey is ready! GO VOLS!!

As always, I love a good SEC rivalry game! I really hope we win this one!

Football Friday

This weekend, the VOLS play the Alabama Crimson Tide in Knoxville. It is a night game, which I always love, and oh my goodness, this is a HUGE game for us. There is always a big rivalry with any SEC team, but especially Alabama.

We were off last Saturday, but the Saturday before, we played Georgia and got beat 41-14...so sad! There are so many guys on the team that deserve a big win after all they have been through. I am so hoping for a win for them!

LET'S GO VOLS!!!

Supper with Best Friends

I had the best night tonight, eating supper at Gondolier with some of my best friends from high school! No matter how long it's been since we have seen each other, we can always just start where we left off. We always have something to talk about! We spent about 3 hours in the restaurant just talking & talking!

I just wanted to give a shout out to these ladies and let them know how much they mean to me!

Jayden's 6th Birthday

Yesterday, we celebrated John T.'s little sister, Jayden's, 6th birthday at none other than Chuck E. Cheese!

Her actual birthday was October 12.

We kept Jayden for the day because Tim was working & Lorrie was selling her homemade candles at a festival in town. We had lots of fun! I straighted Jayden's hair, and I thought it made her look so much older! She is such a pretty little girl. :o)

Riley-Pearson Wedding

This past weekend, I headed back to middle Tennessee for Jessica Riley & Troy Pearson's wedding.

Jessica & I have been friends since 2007, when we started nuc. med. school together at Vanderbilt. We have been great friends ever since. We had many, many study nights together our senior year of college, and we had some very fun nights, too! 2007 CMA Awards, trips to Memphis & St. Louis, Otter's, Dippin' Dots, & so much more!

I was so honored that she asked me to be a bridesmaid in their wedding. We all had a fabulous weekend!

It's almost time to walk down the aisle!
Beautiful bride!
This was my beautiful bouquet in this vase that Jessica gave me. It's kind of hard to see, but it has a monogram of an "A" on it. I just love it!!

Congratulations to the Pearson's!

Football Friday

This Saturday, the VOLS play the Georgia Bulldogs in Athens. After a heartbreaking loss to LSU last week, 16-14, I am hoping so hard that we will beat Georgia!

GO VOLS!!!

I am leaving for Clarksville today for my friend Jessica Riley's wedding weekend! I am so excited and happy for her & Troy!

Have a great weekend, everyone!

Anniversary

Last night, to celebrate our two year anniversary, we went to eat at The Chop House and to the movies to see You Again.

The entire day & night were perfect. I love my husband so much!

Getting ready to leave!

We tried our best at the self-timer :o)

Leaving The Chop House and heading to Turkey Creek. I had free movie tickets & it was $1 candy night! Sweet surprises!

Our food was so delicious! The Chop House never disappoints!

You Again was really cute. John T. really liked it too, so it is definitely guy-approved! :o)
I can't wait to celebrate many, many more years with my love!

Weekend

Our weekend was pretty low key. It went by super fast, though!

Friday night, I went to Knoxville after work to pick up John T.'s anniversary present & a couple of birthday presents. We have so many family members/friends with October birthdays!

Saturday, I went to my mom & dad's to watch the UT/LSU game because John T. was working. It was so sad! :o( We came so very close to winning, but we ended up losing at the very last second 16-14.

Today, after church, we went to Frozen Head State Park to celebrate my SIL Taleah's 20th birthday (her real b-day is on Wednesday). We had pizza & cake, and it was super cold! I broke out the North Face for the first time this fall! I loved it though!

Football Friday

After a very close win with UAB last week, 32-29, the VOLS travel to Baton Rouge this weekend to take on the LSU Tigers. LSU is really good this year, but I'm hoping the Vols can come away with a win, I don't care how close this week!

I'm thinking about going to the Allardt Pumpkin Festival on Saturday, but I plan to be back in time for kick-off at 3:30 so I can watch with John T. Have a great weekend, everyone!

Go BiG oRaNgE!!
