Taleah's Prom
Yesterday was John T.'s sister, Taleah's senior prom. She looked so beautiful, and I LOVED her zebra dress! This year, she went with her friend Jake, and she told me this was her best prom ever! People always say that you have the best time when you don't go with a boy/girlfriend. Their prom was at Doubletree Hotel in Oak Ridge, & then they went out to eat & the movies afterwards. I can't believe this was her last one ever! Also, this week, she committed to play basketball at Motlow State Community College in Tullahoma, TN. I'm so proud of you, Taleah! Enjoy your last final days of your senior year! I LOVE YOU!

Friday's Fabulous Finds (#s 10, 11, & 12)
I have been behind with my Fabulous Friday posts, but I am going to get caught back up! I LOVE all three of these fabulous products!
Thanks to my friend, Jessica Riley, for introducing me to this fabulous lotion! The smell is the best part (& the price!).
I use these babies probably 5 times a day in my kitchen, & they also work great for cleaning bathrooms.
Such thing as a low-fat milkshake?
I was reading this blog last night, and got a sudden craving for a homemade milkshake. I have been trying to follow the guidelines of Weight Watchers these past few weeks to prepare for Brittany's wedding & summer, and I thought if I wanted a milkshake that bad, I could surely come up with a low-fat recipe. So, here's what I came up with...a few scoops of Edy's Slow-Churned, low-fat Vanilla ice cream, a cup or so of skim milk, and Hershey's syrup (which always surprises me...b/c there are only 100 calories in 2 tbsp!) They turned out so yummy...even John T. loved them, & he is NOT a sweet eater like me!
Riverfront 5K & 1/2 Marathon
On Saturday, April 18, an organization in Harriman that raises money for fallen officers hosted a 5K & 1/2 marathon. My aunt Sharon & Steve Bolden from church ran in the 5K and did a great job! They beat the time they had set to cross the finish line & Sharon came in 2nd in her age group for the whole race!
My friend Tim, my dad, & my dad's good friend, Tommy from work, ran in the 1/2 marathon. I honestly don't see how anyone does it, but they all did great! Tim came in first with a time of 2 hours 5 minutes, dad in second with a time of 2 hours 8 minutes, & Tommy came in third out of the three of them.

Brittany's Bridal Shower
On Saturday, Jenny, Whittney, & I hosted a bridal shower for our great friend, Brittany May, who is marrying Daniel Smiley on May 30! We had lots of food & lots of laughs, and Brittany got some great gifts. I hope you had a great time, Brittany. I LoVe you! :o)
My monogrammed cookies. :o) Britt's colors are black & yellow...so pretty!
All of the yummy food!
Easter & Updates
I hope everyone had a great Easter! We did. :o) We went to church Easter morning, then to John T.'s granny's for ham, corn, potato salad, baked beans, rolls, & apple pie! Then, she hid some Easter eggs for us, with clues in them that lead to some great presents! I got a cute dress, capris, & polo shirt. I LOVE Easter...especially the incredible meaning of it. It was such a beautiful day yesterday, but it looks like we're in for more storms & rain today & tomorrow. April showers bring May flowers! :o) My weekends from here until the end of May are packed, but I am really excited about everything. I LOVE spring & spring activities! Work is going great, too. I have been getting a few more hours visiting surrounding doctors informing them about the nuclear medicine camera we have at Fort Loudoun, and I actually got to work in the clinic on Friday. I LOVED it, and I would really LOVE to go full time. :o) It's all in God's hands, so I am leaving it ALL to Him. For now, I am enjoying the time I have at home & the time I have at work.

Happy Easter!
I have so much to be thankful for this Easter. I am so very glad that Jesus died for my sins & rose from the grave. He is alive & deserves so much praise & gratitude. Happy Easter, everyone! I am so glad for what this special day means.
"He is not here; He has risen! Remember how He told you, while He was still with you in Galilee: 'The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.' Then they remembered His words." Luke 24:6-8
Happy Birthday, WHITTNEY!

Nuclear Medicine State Meeting
This past weekend, the TSNMT hosted the annual nuc. med. state meeting in Gatlinburg. It was so great to see some of the techs from Vandy as well as Jessica, Emily, Adam, & Alan, who I graduated with in August. I miss them already! We had a great time, and I'm looking forward to Chattanooga next April! :o)
We ate at the Old Mill on Friday, and it was so yummy!!
