July 4th

We had a pretty low key July 4th weekend. On Sunday, we went to my in-law's for a cook-out, and we (meaning John T. & his dad) shot our own fireworks.

I made this flag cookie cake for our dessert. I didn't really have a recipe, I just kind of whipped it up, and it turned out very tasty!
